Hi again guys,

I have noticed a pipe adrift on my motor.

It is connected to the lowest point on the inlet manifold via a fitting pointing straight down. It is about 6" long and at the moment is just laying in the base of the powerhead.

It carries vaccuum and I can't find where the other end should go?

I thought maybe lower main bearing but can't find an elbow on the motor.

Any help much appreciated!

If the hose is connected to the intake cover in front of the carburetors, it is simply a drain hose. It directs excess or puddled fuel away from the carburetors and into the cowling, where it eventually drips out, into the lake.

If it is connected to the intake manifold behind the carburetors, it is part of the fuel recirculating system. It should be connected to the fuel drains and back into the fuel pump.

Fuel drains are part of the fuel recirculation system.
Located on the side of the block, connected by fuel line, and fed back into the fuel pump.
