My family and I went to the CA state fair in Sacramento this past weekend. On the fairgrounds they had a memorial to 911 that was partially finished. It included a large steel beam from the north tower and many photos from that day. They are also working on a memorial for flight 93 and the people at the Pentagon. It was great to see, really made me and my wife reflect back to that day and how tragic it was and all of the heroes of that time. We also had the opportunity to talk more with our youngest daughter who was in kindergarten at the time of the event.
It also made me think how at that time much of the World was on our side. We even had support going into Afghanistan. Now look where we are. Thanks George.
