Have a 1985 mercury 35 HP, 2 cyl. outboard and would like to add a tach. Control has tach leads to add one. Confused as to what to look for when buying, Seems they are based on "poles" on motor? Or see them listed for 3, 4, & 6 Cyl. motors but nothing in a 2 cyl. What do I need?
