Where is your antivent plate located with respect to this diagram that Rick privided? For higher speed, higher performance boats, it should be above the bottom line....how much depends on your setup and use.
For slower boats, it should be below to help to prevent ventilation which easily occurs in trying to push heavy loads with the prop too close to the surface.
