Flush Plug Location on Evinrude 70 ~ 1987

I am new to the power boat world and to outboards..

Reading the SELOC Repair manual for my outboard, they mention a flush plug that needs to be opened when winterizing my motor. They provide no diagram or picture of this plug.

As I will be winterizing shortly, I would like to find it or I would like to know if it is necessary to do.

in 87 there was no flush plug. to flush the engine reqires the flushing "muffs".
