Hello, I have a question about my 22 ft. Aquasport cc. Would a 115 hp be enough to power it, seems like a heavy boat and it had a 175 on it. I am using the boat in the LI sound locally with small payload and usually two people. Thanks.
What year model is your boat? Yes, a 115 will move you along but it may have to be pushed to the limit to obtain any decent mph. You'll probably burn it up a lot sooner than the rated hp. not to mention fuel usesage. Could I be nosey and ask why you want to downsize?
