Re: Motor pops out of water in reverse
Are you returning the tilt lever to the run position when you lower the motor? It is located on the starboard side near the top of the midsection on the transom bracket.
It has to be flipped up to manually raise the motor, but must be manually flipped down to keep the motor from bouncing around when running in reverse.
