you will need to take that carb off and soak in carb cleaner overnight the blow out with compressed air make sure you reach all the hard to reach places, make sure you put it together correctly ..... to adjust your air mix screw, turn it in to soft stop then out 1 & half turns out .....

My 2005 4hp will not idle. Is there an accessable idle adjustment screw? I put in a new plug and that does not help. Someone said that the idle is factory preset to meet emission standards and that I may have to drill out a plug that covers the idle screw. He suggested that I look at a schematic diagram to see if this is the case. Can I access a schematic on line?
Thanks,
Tom
