On a 1991 Yamaha 70HP with a 3 cylinder engine, I do not understand how to adjust the float 
I have inverted the carb and the float opens beyond manufacturer specifcations. I need to shorten the distance between the float and base.
The carb is setup like this: The float pivots off a hinge pin that is screwed down by a small screw. The needle and the needle's wire are hanging to the center of the float. Not exactly sure how to shorten the float distance. I dont know what a tang is or what needs to be bent.
