Problems finding info on WorkTwin

I have a Evinrude 55HP WorkTwin (Model E55RLCNB) with a jet. I just got this outboard a few weeks ago and it seems EXTREMELY under powered. I did a compression check and its sitting at 70&80 psi. Any recomendations on where I can get more info on the motor.

the service manual for your engine is #392790, go to ebay and look for a used one. compression is on the low side. you could try a decarb using seafoam. go the the engine faq forum and read decarb. get the carbon out of the engine and the rings may free up. a 55 hp with a jet only has the out put of about 35-40 hp at the jet outlet. they are not neary as powerful as a prop driven unit. this may be why it seems under powered.
