Its a chrysler model 2022, ser # 2009. I was told it was a seventy eight. Made in Canada.

Motor is from 1969. All the newer model 20 HP from 74-80 had manual chokes. Can you take a pic of the choke hooked up to the carb? It might be a standard choke solinoid but I need to see yours in order to make sure.

Your solinoid is standard for all chryslers from 20 to 55 HP unfortunatly they dont make them anymore. Merc part number is FK654924. You might get lucky on ebay or try chryslercrew.net or the marine doctor. I have one I got on ebay for 10 bucks and that included a starter solinoid, choke solinoid and a bunch of other things that were kitted in the sale.
