Please help me with the year of my mariner

I have looked on the web sites that have been suggested to find the year of a mariner outboard, but I cannot locate my serial number. Can anyone help me? It is a 15 hp mariner serial # 684 C S 065289.

I am greatful for the help but I still cannot find it . Not on maxrules.com or marinshopen.se. Am I computer challenged or is it just not there.

I didn't look close at your serial # before, sorry. There are to many characters (letters and numbers), should be 7 of them.
It's on the swivel arm or on the engine block.

You can find a .pdf serial number chart for the Mariners at marinepower.com.

As mentioned above, I'd agree that it is likely a 1988 model.

marinepower.com shows 684 B's but still no 684 C's.
Could this possibly be a Japanese built mariner?

There has to be a list somewhere that has this number on it. Anyone know for sure?
