Help please...idle orfice screw plug siezed

1979 70hp fixed jet carb, idle orfice screw plug - can't budge it...I've mangled the head pretty good although there's still some semblance of a slot - what do we do in a case like this? Don't really think drilling is such a good idea...

Leave it where it is and just hose it out with carb cleaner jtexas. Knock out the soft plug on top of the carb to make sure the carb cleaner is getting through the jet.
