Hey Samo Ott,

I have a 1959 Evinrude 18hp model 15028. Someone made it an electric start way-back-when by using parts off a 67 Johnson 20 horse including the upper and lower cowl, carb, flywheel, starter, solonoid, etc. I didn't know it wasn't factory 59 Evinrude untill I had to replace the cowl.

Anyway, point is, all of those parts are interchangeable from the late 50's to at least the late 60's and possibly beyond on 18 and 20 hp OMC's. If you can find a trashed electric start Johnson or Evinrude somewhere in those years, you may be be able to find what you need without having to purchase a kit. Just a thought.
