just bought this boat has this motor on it should i look for sertian probelms with it.

yes salt and fresh

then carefully inspect the shift shaft where it passes through the steering tube, they were prone to rusting away.
the shaft is cheap the labor to replace it can get very expensive.
saltwater corrosion is not your friend.
