model no. help: Force E3N9A

The hood is "Force 35HP, US Marine", on the back of the motor says "CFI".

I could not find any number like "353E91A", the only thing I found is a "E3N9A", on the bottom side near the kill switch.

What year is it? Is it a Force 35? I need buy parts for it.

That is a funny number if it is indeed the model number.
I'd bet a pizza that its an 89.

Well, if its a 35, , there weren't many parts that were different from year to year.
You should be able to compare the parts diagrams at mercruiserparts dot com and tell which part you need.
