Oil leak for outdrive gearbox

I have recently purchased a 97 bayliner with a 4.3 liter and alpha one outdrive. After 6 hours of use noticed the outdrive reservoir was almost empty. When I pulled the bilge plug I got about 3 to 4 tablespoons of oil out. I serviced the outdrive oil system immediately and it had about 1.25 quarts of oil in it and a slight milky look and some minor chips. I reserviced and went out for 2 hours. I then found tha about 1/4 of an inch of oil had leaked out again. I can't find visually where the oil leak is coming from. Any suggestions?

Re: Oil leak for outdrive gearbox

Do you know where I can find the manuals for this outfit? Sounds like this could become a pain in the rear. Since I can't get my head in the back to see this how would I diagnose this for sure?
