me and my buddies were out at the lake a few days ago, when we ran into a problem. My buddy described it as a "burning rubber" smell of a belt, and then he said the boat lunged forward, as if something in his drive locked up. He has a brand new 06 maxum. We ended up having to tow him in. Anyways, would it be possible that he lost his outdrive?
