Hey, I have droped quit a few lower untis off of outboards but cannot seem to get this one to break loose. It seems like the shift linkage is holding it up like on some smaller merc outboards where you have to undo that little clip that is a pain in the a@# somtimes. All the bolts are out (4 I think), any fast ideas.

I think there are 6 fasteners holding the gearcase to the midsection. 1 in the front, 1 one each side above the ventitation plate held by a nut , 2 underneath the vent plate, and one under the trim tab. To remove the trim tab, there is hole in the midsection housing right above it.

Hey I found what I was looking for I forgot about the one under the front fin. Thanks for the help though.
