My boat is sitting in the water without being used much this season. The gas I have in tanks is there for 8 month. I added "Stabil" gas stabilizer 8 month ago.
If I run the boat on this gas, am I at risk of getting carbs clogged?
Did anyone use "Startron" - enzyme based fuel additive?
If yes, what is your experience using it?

Please advise.

Thanks!

Re: Startron fuel additive

Don't worry about, run the boat, add some fresh gas.

Also look into a product called PRI-G.

Re: Startron fuel additive

If you can believe the technical literature that is published on the Startron stuff you should be OK. I used it in my stored gas last winter and the boat started fine and ran through that tank with no issue. I use it now in every tank but really don't know if its a benfit other than the engine runs fine. They claim it should help fuel economy. I've seen more than one article saying good things about the stuff.
