Default Mercury 40hp 4 stroke 3 Cylinder

can someone talk me through changing the impellor on my engine. if possible with drawings. i need an idiots guide.

Highly recommend you get a manual. If you can't, go to your local library and copy the appropriate pages out of theirs.

Go to the Mercury Marine web site. Click on Parts Express. Get the serial number off your engine and then look at the exploded view drawings. If you can't do the job by looking at pictures, you need a manual. You can order that on the same site. Get the genuine Mercury manual.
