Q:? I have the above delineated system. The engine runs great and is strong and the shift works great as well. Just one question. On the throttle, when you push all the way forward the engine dies...is this like a "dead man" switch.....meaning that in an emergency pushing the throttle all the way is meant to kill the motor or is the engine just being flooded to the point of cutting off.?? I do not have a problem, just wondering why it would have this dead zone... Any comments would be welcome.
Finally, what is the protocol for shifting is it to drop RPMS and then shift, meaning when you change from forward to reverse.. or is it to neutral first and then shift??
