I am in need of any info on where to find parts for the lower unit of my 40 horse Big Twin....it's the small split gear case with pin drive prop..

It runs like a top and I really don't want to part with it...

I'm located in Texas, and need several things of which I have been unable to find as of yet..

I need the following...

front and rear bearings, drive dog, trunion,gasket kit, and just about anything else I can find.. especially those two small spring loaded ball bearings !

If anyone know's where I can find these parts, I would appreciate it..

and finally- yes, it was a moving catastrophic failure that tore up just about everything...

The bearings ought to be available at any bearing supply house, or auto parts store. Just get the number off the bearing. The two balls are nothing but plain ol' 1/4" steel ball bearings. Same bearing supply place or especially a bicycle shop.
