Hi All,i'm a noob here,
I've got no spark in cylinders 1 and 3. I replaced the power pack, but no difference. there are 3 new coils too, they were replaced because of cracks and one was open. I ohm checked the sensors and cannot find anything open circuit. When I ran this on the lake a few days ago, it would run lousy in the lower rpm's, but when throttled up about 3/4, it would sometimes clear up and run smooth, but cut out again after 20 seconds or so and run crummy again.
I'm not sure what to test next, or how to test it because the manual says without the engine specific test equipment, "there was no way on this green earth to test it"
Anyone have an idea which way to go, or how to test the charge coils and sensors? or the stator?
I'm sure it still needs the link and synch, but until spark is restored it seems pointless to try.
I have searched thru the archives, but I'm not sure I'm using the search tool properly, because it doesnt seem to narrow down the search criteria.
