Hi All,
New here from the UK, and whilst experienced with boats of 30 - 60 feet (ex proffessional fisherman) I'm fairly new to the small boat scene and outboards. I've just bought a used Winner Wildcat with a 60hp mercury mariner and power tilt/trim. The tilt motors and raises + lowers ok but the dual trim rams only go in about an inch before locking up? If I open the manual release to let some fluid out they will go all the way in allowing the engine to go fully down, but once done up again and cycled, they stop at the same spot every time and won't go in. I've tried bleeding the system but don't have a handbook yet so i'm scratching in the dark really .... any ideas?
