can someone please tell me the best parts and how to flush out my engine while it is on the back of the boat.

How about the person that sold you the boat? If that won't work, how about asking your nearest marine dealer? If you have none, get on www, go to Merc and look one up, then call and ask.

I don't have a clue personally.

What year is it? My '06 merc has threads at the peehole to screw a hose onto it to flush it.
