Took the boat out today and noticed that the motor would not tilt or trim from the throttle lever. When in neutral or in reverse it works fine. Also, the tilt/trim switch at the motor works no matter what.

I've taken the 703 control apart and checked everything as well as connections, etc. at the motor. I did not seem to find anything wrong.

Any suggestions or knowledge where to go next?

check for continuity between the red and blue trim swtch wires with the up button depresed and while wiggling/twsiting the switch harness. sounds like a wire is broken.

Sure enough! I took the 703 control apart again and took the t/t switch out and when moved around, it would work. Found a broken wire where the harness wraps through the handle. Thanks for your help, a new switch is ordered and is on the way!
