decided to finally retire the force 120hp after many years of good work on my 1998 bayliner tropy 19'.

I am about to buy a new outboard for her, because I really like the boat... What does everything think about this deal...

http://www.boatmotors.com/motorparts/index.cgi?pid=5328&flag=2

in terms of...

1. fuel efficiency
2. maintainability
3. dependability
4. quiet while running
5. ease of installation to bayliner 1998 trophy 1903

1. Great for it's size(Being a 4 stroke)
2. Easy to maintain
3. Dependable as any other 4 stroke
4. Ya know it's gonna run quiet
5. Should bolt right up, but you will need controls, Etc.

The price looks fair...

My existing controls won't work?

You'll need new controls/cables and a prop.-for starters.

If it's NEW, you'll have to have a dealer install it for the warranty to be valid.

USED, check with iboats on warranty implications.

The weight difference between your Force and that Yamaha is somewhere around 150 lbs. Might want to have a quick chat with someone at Trophy to make sure this wouldn't be a problem.

What are you going to do with the Force and what is wrong with it?

The Yam will use way less fuel than the Force. Best of luck. 8)
