If you were to replace the waterpump in my 20HP Rude would you get the stock OMC part for $39.99 or go for the seria from ibaots for $26.99. Is there a real difference as I want to change it but don't want to rereplace it in a few months after it quits working.

Sierra has had some impeller problems over the years. I would pay the extra for BRP parts in this case.

brp parts are made im mexico. So unless their QC is better than Taiwan u decide. If you as a dealer they will tell u it is trash. I have a sierra impellor and not sure how many hours or trips out on it but did it before this summer. I did it just to do it the other one put out enough water and the motor was not overheating but the new one pumps even more water and keeps the motor even cooler.
