Baby Tug Boat...

Thought this was really cool.It was on my local lake the other day.

Pretty neat looking. I wonder if it is practical as for as fishing and such?

Grass is always greener on the other side.

A guy in a local marina has one like it that he built.
His sat higher in the stern though.
Had a little 1 cylinder diesel up in the bow.

Really a cute little boat. They used it for fishing in the Puget Sound for 8 years. Top speed maybe 15 MPH on a good day going with the tide

In 93 they put a for sale sign on it. It sold the same day.
They upgraded to a used 21 ft cuddie cabin and flew around the sound going to and comming back from places it would have taken all day just to get to with the little TUG.

Summer of 94. They traded straight boat for boat to the guy who bought the little TUG! 2006 and they still have it! d

I was running about 25mph after taking the pic,The tug passed me...lol..
It did get alot of attention on the lake!

For sale items can be put in the iboats classifieds.

Pretty cool lil' boat. Would be fun to play around in and be the centre of attention in the marina for sure.

They seem to be pretty straight foward to build. I've seen plans for something similar at boatdesigns.com/products.asp?dept=525
