I have a late 60s Mecuary 65 hp motor. I had to take controller apart to rewire switch. Now it goes in forward gear but will only creep along. The throttle lever feels loose. In reverse there is lots of power. It is as if I had managed to put something in the controller back to front. The fast idle lever works as it should. Any suggestions for a fix would be greatly appreciated.
