Does anybody know if controls and cables from a 1992 mercury 40HP with power trim would work on a 2005 Mercuy 9.9 with power trim? The controls are marked morse and are flush mount.
if the plugs match up, it should. they changed the plugs , but i don't remeber what year. you can always get and adapter, harness. but it cost almost as much as a new controller.
