after a short run engine died at 1000 -1500 rpm and would not start im a tech and my buddy boat was right behind we pulled off the cover carb was spraying fuel holly 4bll check spark from coil ok pulled plug dry had spark possible weak spark installed plug engine started.went for 35 mins same problem happened 3 times retuned to dock engine stalled would not start smelled fuel after pumping throttle.got home boat started could not duplicate proble ran on muffs for 30 mins found .007 play in dist worn points possible coil.
