The squeal isn't unusual and only noticable because the motor idles so quietly. There's a plastic bushing below the powerhead that's the usual suspect. Nothing's being damaged, it's just annoying. You can pull the gearcase and grease the shaft, but it never lasts long. Chances are that it goes away at most anything above idle. My best suggestion is to live with it or give it a few more RPMs. For the rough idle, try a bit of Gumout in the gas.
