New to boating, and I am looking for a 25-28' boat in mid 1990's. Should I ask if it has shore power or do all of these boats come with it. If not can you install it? Is there any important questions to ask when consider a long distance sale? Thanks.

Are you planing on keeping it at a skip that provides shore power?

The bigger cabin cruisers usually come with shore power sockets, but the cuddy cabins don't usually.

All depends on where you are storing the boat. If you are living on it, then you will want it. If you are just worried about keeping the batteries charged and it's in your driveway, you can install a battery charger/conditioner and just plug it into your house.
