are props differant

would a prop be different from a tri haul than a prop of a v bottom ? boat wont plane nor will it reach rpms in gear

Trihulls plane easier and can run higher on top of the water. I wouldn't be suprised if you had to drop a pitch if the motor is moved from a tri to a V assuming equal length and weight.

the prop is13.25 x 17 pitch

where should i start im not sure good compression carbs clean runs strong but not under load seems like a dog
