hello fellow vip owners. I just became owner of a 1989 17' vip vision. the boat is in nice shape,but I'll have to get an engine for it.it had a 125 force on it. rod went threw bottom engine case.I'll post pictures later.<br />regards<br />javsam
Hey, javsam! Glad to see others around with VIP's. I really like mine and when I get a new boat in a couple years will seriously look at another one. I am glad mine does not have the force motor though, I haven't heard much good about them. If you can, try to find something better!
zach, its a very sharp boat.it has a red metal flake stripe on it that sparkles in the sunlight. it is very solid, no rot. and the upholsltry is in great shape too.to be fair the seller did some work on this motor that caused it to lose a rod through the block.it was a nice looking motor as well. I'll part out the motor on ebay.I've got an older motor, its a 1972 johnson 125 that I'll be putting on.The boat also is low profile,like a bass boat.<br />javsam
