Always for skiing. I only put my Turbo on when I'm going cruising and don't plan on skiing.

To the skylon. Note the tall pylon in my avatar. My rope was tied there, the other two at the standard height. The top is better for skiing, but the bow of the boat rises too much and struggles to pull us all up if we all tie up there. That's why Jake and Bill's ropes are tied lower.
