Hey folks

Looking for comments, background, experiences with the Bayliner 4387's which were produced in the early 90's. These look like reasonably priced coastal cruisers suitable for live aboards. Any record of structural/laminate/blister problems with these hulls? Most are Hino powered which isn't a bad choice in engine but parts/service is somewhat limited in this neck of the woods.

We have friends with a 3888 90's vintage and it's a nice boat. This one looks like it's got a much nicer accommodations layout with the aft cabin. I especially like the swim platform and integrated steps for easier boarding. Are they tender or tough enough to take a gulf stream crossing?

So anything you care to share we'd appreciate it. We're still a few years away from moving up to this size of boat but we're gathering intelligence to hopefully help us make the right decision.

Here's one of about 8 on yachtworld.

http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listing/boatFullDetails.jsp?boat_id=1135629&ybw=&units=Fee t&currency=CAD&access=Public&listing_id=12104&ur l=
