Want to install speed prop on 1989 85hp Force

Could anyone tell me what size prop I would need for a the best performace (speed) I think they are a 2 blade instead of three. Can anyone give me a make and part number that may suit my perticular engine :cool: <br /><br />Thanks!

Mercury had those. I don't think they'd fit a Force of that vintage. I also don't think anybody makes those anymore. Most were bronze, but I have seen a few of aluminum.

I have a 1988 85hp.Force on a 17' bass boat the thing pulls severely to the right could the prop cause this it does have a few nicks in it but nothing that looks too serious could use some help not sure what else to look at.<br /> thanks Lamb tough Dodge.

The problem with force engines is that they seem to be severely overrated when it comes to horsepower keep this in mind when you shop for props. Your "85hp" probabally actually only kicks out about 60hp. If you get a prop for an 85hp. it will "rob" a considerable amount of power from you engine.
