:) Striper and blue fishing is still going strong!!!
Went out yesterday and when we left the harbor we hit a wall of white water and it was rough till we got to the lee side of the island!!! My friend in his boat wasn't as confident, turned around and headed for the dock!!!

Couldn't miss catching blue fish, they were all over the water, birds feeding on the left overs. Just had to cast the surface poppers where the birds were and you would hook up!!!! ;)

Well for once I can rub it in too.
In perfectly reasonable water 600 foot off shore on lake Ontario my son steered us right into a staging area of Cohos. We were trying for small mouth, but the salmon were the ones hitting the minnows and these guys, inch for inch, fight just as hard as blues, except there are more inches to count.Flyrod, this is the time of year you should be packing your flies and rods and come to lake Ontario for some wild flyfishing!!
