Can you please tell me if it's better to install the sonar inside the hull than outside. Now I have it outside and it seems not to be working very well. I'm more interested in "depth" that in "fish".<br />Thanks

i'm no expert here but inside mount is alot more difficult to do/get rite.. an can't be done on alum.hulls .. here's something that most don't know ,,is a transducer wears out in time .. how long ? can't say but 5 or 6 years .. some more some less .. on how much you use it.. that could be your problem
