Shift Lever - iboats Boating Forums

Shift Lever

I have a 1997 with a ford PCM 5.8 ltr engine. My problem is that my shifter will not engauge like the detent is is worn. I have been a mechanic all of my life and I cannot figure the most efficient way to pull this unit out with out recking somthing in the process to see what is wrong. Any ideas out there
