A group of friends, and myself, will be canoeing the Ausable River in MI next year; appx. 120 miles in 7 days. I was wondering if anyone has attempted something like this and if so had any tips? Any help with training or suggested gear would be a great help. I know this is early to start thinking to deaply about a trip in July, but I don't want to be unprepared and risk someone getting sick, hurt, or worse. Thanks in advance.
