i just removed the transom from my early 90's quicksilver 11'. i have a 15hp merc for it, and it seems a great match.i am trying to rejuvenate this thing. I would like to put a replacement transom in. The old one is 1", and the lower 1/3 is pretty wet. The cuffs and the floor material are in great shape. I have transom braces that bolt to the floor, and a stainless steel plate that wraps the transom under the motor. Any suggestions on how to build a new one?
