Need computer help

Every time I reboot my computer I get several boxes that tell me some file is missing to several programs. Well the programs have been uninstalled. When I did the uninstall they left some trash behind that will not uninstall.<br /><br />What I am looking for is a program that will track these files down and remove them.<br /><br />Thanks for the help in advance.

Go to run<br />Type in MSCONFIG<br />Go to startup tab<br />Uncheck the boxes of the programs you have "uninstalled" if they exsist<br />Hit APPLY<br />Reboot<br />You will get a selective startup warning and you can check ignore that.<br /><br />Be careful not to uncheck the necessary programs and only do ones that you have unistalled and are sure of.<br /><br />Hope that helps.<br /><br />Bob

You can reload your operating system. That will clear up any missing files.<br />What operating system do you have on your machine?
