Howdy, Pat.<br /><br />You omitted critical info and you posted in all caps. Both turn-offs to many helpers. Also, you need to wait at least a day, sometimes two, before a qualified helper comes along.<br /><br />Whoever changed your water pump impeller screwed up your shift linkage. Get a Service Manual, dismantle it again and put it together correctly.<br /><br />Also, you might want to check this out:
