stator diagnosis, how to test?

i pulled the stator out of the boat and took some pictures of it and posted it here and soemone said there stator was as in just as bad condition but it works fine. is there any way to test this with an ohm meter off the boat? i would like to know how to test the other components as well thanx. i have pictures if at all needed

If you don't all ready have one, it's time to get a manual. It will tell you step by step how to test everything. Cal

ah well i am waiting for the compression tester to arrive so i can see if i am going to even keep this boat.

anyway after reviewing the stator more closer i noticed some of the pads are damaged/worn more than others on the stator so i beleive that this is my culprit piece of equipment.
