winterizing tips

Hello, I'm new to boating so please bare with me. I recently bought an '83 4hp Johnson and am getting ready to witerize it. And I was woundering if you guys could give me some tips on what to do to get it ready for winter. Thanks.

It's really easy, and essentially the same for all outboards. Search these forums for winterize - there's many good posts on it. Also the web. There's websites that have step by step guides.

I was just looking at my winterizing checklist(s). I think I got them from Brown's marina and Maxrules websites.
