i have a 97 model force 120 i bought this motor new and have had little trouble out of it but, since it was fairly new whe i open the throttle the last little bit maybe last 10% it loses speed not dramatically but some looking at the throttle mechanism everything is tight and butterflys are fully open i was told this could be a jetting problem any sugestions on how to adjust or re jet to solve this problem thanks stef.

At full throttle are the butterflies going beyond full open? If so this might account for your decrease in speed.

I just happened to look at my butterfly's last night, & it appears mine are not level at full throttle, still needs a little more travel to bring them to level, I assume I need to adjust the trottle out to have my full power, the butterfly's should be level at full throttle right?
