A lot of different HP and years use the same ignition modules. My Seloc manual lists the CDI for each HP/year. You can compare part numbers to find what other engines use the same module.
I think the only differences concern the length of the sparkplug lead. I worked on a 40 triple that had a longer lead on the top than the lower two. But there were early versions and those all have to be replaced complete with harness. The connectors are completely different. Most of those went on Program motors and not many on consumer models.
